Proprietary Materials.  As a course participant, I recognize and acknowledge that I will have access to and gain confidential information and knowledge relating to Darrell Gurney’s/CareerGuy’s processes, products, and materials. I acknowledge that the maintenance of the proprietary nature of such information is essential to the business interests of Darrell W. Gurney. I agree that such materials, concepts, and information presented before, during or after the course, either orally or in writing, is the sole property of Darrell W. Gurney, and I agree not to utilize, reproduce, copy, duplicate, resell, share or modify and resell such materials or portions of materials and information as part of any course, program, workshop, or consulting of any similar business activity for the purpose of receiving directly or indirectly any financial gain. It is further understood that this material is confidential, to be used only by the participant in the course and should not be shared with others or used for any purpose other than as intended and expressly designated by Darrell W. Gurney.

Participant’s Release of Liability. I hereby forever release and hold harmless Darrell Gurney /  CareerGuy / The Back Forty from any and all claims, causes of action, demands, obligations, breaches of duty, injuries, liabilities, losses, expenses, costs, attorney’s fees, damage, or actions, of every type, kind, nature, description, or character, however defined or denominated, and however claimed and asserted, of any nature, known or unknown, asserted or not asserted, contingent or absolute, matured or unmatured, direct or indirect, arising or accruing in any manner out of, or in any way directly or indirectly related to my participation in the program, any statements or acts of Darrell Gurney / CareerGuy / The Back Forty, any statements or acts of the participants or third parties, the content, design, and planning of the program, regardless if the nature of such claims be monetary, emotional, mental, psychological or physical.
