Specifically, entire sections of Embrace #5: Your Initiation, were removed from the final manuscript to have the main book be more digestible, and yet this material adds multiple dimensions to the exploration of midlife, from the psychological dimensions of Erik Erikson's stages of adult development to an astrological and even Buddhist perspective of life stages.
Other Embraces throughout the book were similarly trimmed so, in effect, besides a hands-on journal in which to engage in every exercise, survey, exploration and experiment of “homeplay” within the main book (it tracks The Back Forty as a steady and aligned companion), you also receive the “Director’s Cut”, so to speak, of every bit of content and additional features that didn’t fit into the main book.
We had hoped to have it up and ready at the same time as the main book but it’s birth order was shifted. It will be the younger brother or sister, making its own way out of the delivery room within the next 6-9 months (estimated)... UNLESS, of course, enough folks choose Option 2 below, and we’ll just have to gestate that baby more intently!
